Full Service
Tooting Home
This full service project was commissioned by a young couple expecting twins. They needed lots of storage in every room. Their pallette was to be calm and earthy with colour pops replicating natures hues. The approach centered around making each room have its own personality based on who would be using it and the vibe they wanted to create whilst in the space.
Redesigned spaces included kitchen, dining room, living room, entrance hall and WC, principal bedroom and children’s room.

The client’s bedroom was designed to feel like a calming sanctuary with a casual feel of subtle opulance. We acheived this by using ‘Puck’ by Little Green on the wardrobes we designed bespoke for this space. The client wanted a place for a vanity unit but the size of the room prohibited a freestanding option so we built one into the joinery. Mirrored fretwork doors reflected light back into the room so the wardrobes, although full width, did not feel like a large bulk of furniture.

The family living room needed lots of seating for everyone. Movie nights are a firm family favourite activity so we designed this media wall unit, wall to wall and floor to ceiling to maximise storage. The joinery is painted in Farrow and Ball Hague Blue. We ensured no sharp edges mindful of little people and layered rugs to keep it feeling homely and stylish.

Entrance Hall
The entrance hallway was previously a separate glass porch with a dark solid front door allowing no light in to the space. This was removed and rebuilt in brick to add space to the home’s footprint. We added a new large front door with frosted glass to let in as much light as possible. We also added a movement sensor so the hallway light would activate as soon as you walked in the door. A storage bench with ticking stripe upholstered pad and tongue and groove panelling softens the space all add to this multi-textured space.
The twins bedroom needed some clever built in joinery which offered space for the practicalities of babies with a built in changing table and storage beneath where the chimney breast once was. We added some soft decorative bevelled arches on the doors and an arch over the changing area to add a lovely detail to a practical design. As always we designed this piece to go wall to wall and floor to ceiling maximising every bit of space possible and leaving room for the cots and as much floor space for growing children.

Special Details
The stair runner was supplied by Bowloom in Battersea and was bespoke made to allow for the turn on the main stairs.
As storage was a priority we designed a striking battened understairs unit followed up to the balustrades which ran to the cieling to give a striking entrance feature. The storage under the stairs consisted of a cupboard for coats, 2 pull out double sided shoe drawers and a drawer at the end for dog equipment.
